I took full time 'ownership' of my dads 72. He bought it brand new in town. New interior, top and engine / trans were rebuilt ~20 years ago. I'm hopeful to get a full paint job this or next summer.

I have lots of memories when I was a kid being picked up from school and going for Sunday cruises with him. Surreal hearing my kids beg me to 'take papa's race car' to their school pickups now.

Thanks! I went to a car show on Saturday in Bay Springs, Mississippi. It's a nice small-town show that my FIL used to go to every year. The horses belong to my wife's cousin who lives across the road from my in-laws. As I was leaving, they ran over to the fence, so I decided to stop and grab a picture. When I drove away, they went back to the field. It's almost like they wanted to see the car!
