Yeah, I got the ‘69 for high school graduation. It was a Mach 1 clone in Grabber Blue with a 351C/FMX and manual everything. I got a full ride scholarship to college so in exchange for selling my brother the ‘86 GT, my grandparents gave me the money they saved for college to purchase the car. My dad found it for $6500 in WV and after doing a lot of elbow grease and some Ford Motorsport dress up, I sold it for $9500 a month later and bought the ‘91 LX I still have. Great story. The 1969 Fastback has always been my favorite, but after driving a 5.0 5-speed as a high school senior, the ‘69 clone I bought was beautiful, but a HUGE step back in performance. I’ll build a Pro Touring ‘69 Boss 429 tribute event. Back to the GT350, the Avalanche Grey color was never on regular Mustang, only GT350, so its a great choice for a 350. Unless you plan to boost it, to me your 500 will be the better car. If you do plan to add boost, the 350 will do everything better. Your glass roof GB Trinity car will always be VERY special! Tough choice! -J
