Found my twin at the track.
From today's car show benefitting the Palmer Lake (CO) Fire Department.
He’s faster. He’s got ported blower, intake, headers, full exhaust, 4.10 gears. I’m bone stock currently on mine. Ran a 11.9 @122. Best I could get sadly. I still need to get the tune done to eliminate the clutch prevention.Who’s faster? That’s what matters

Always get a smile on my face walking out to this car. Unsure if you boys remember me saying someone stole my license plate, I completely didn’t even notice they stole my duck I had on my antenna. Back story on the duck was when we took the road trip for Route 66. In St Luis we were at a park and someone put a duck on each of our cars. Had sentimental value to it, however as my father used to say. “People suck”.
Been a little bit since this photo was taken, but this duck had lasted some serious speed, and smiles. Rip Goose!
I've always wanted one. 13-14 Silver Cobra jet 1 of 3 color options . Damn tempting! These are strictly for serving gap sauce on the track to our gm and dodge fan boys.....lol

Its all about power to weight and weight distibution in the car. That 5.0 is bored out 0.060" over and lighter on the front end. These cobra's weigh 3200 lbs. This supercharged version puts out around 700+ and runs low 9's to mid 8's all day. Biggest problem w/our shelby's is weight and there terrible balanced at 56/44. That's why they handle and launch terrible. Key is shedding some weight and balancing out. Dont need a 1000 rwhp shelby to go fast. 700 to 900 rwhp shelby is perfect minus a few pounds.

Hey @CobraBob I'm going to need something like this if I even want to keep it close with @biminiLX That shelby GT500 he has is a SS killer.....lolDo it, Vinnie! What an awesome track car that would be. And, yeah, a shame it can't have a street VIN. But still......
