Rock chips yes, and I have the stripes in a cart. A member here is redoing his with the place he showed us. If his come out good then I’ll order them and replace them. Are you going to redo the stripes?
Not sure if that's dirt or are they damaged?

I've been patiently waiting for 2025 pics of the UNICORN on this thread..........
How much did that cost if you don’t mind me asking? You can Pm it if you’re more comfortable.
She finished curing a couple of weeks ago, so I'm coordinating final polish, ceramic coat, and PPF. I expect pics to be plentiful after she's done.I've been patiently waiting for 2025 pics of the UNICORN on this thread..........![]()
I don't mind at all. Entire car was painted, including stripes. Doing so required a LOT of disassembly and re-assembly. They smoothed surfaces and prepped; disassembled (the front-end, hood, front fenders, doors, trunk, rear-end, and glass); painted the base color; reassembled body panels/parts; laid-out stripes; disassembled; painted the stripes; applied 4-5 clear coats; buffed; and re-assembled everything. Cost estimate was $15K-$20K. Actual cost (not including final polish, ceramic coating, and PPF) came in ~$20K.How much did that cost if you don’t mind me asking? A lot of the inspiration for my project, right there ^^.View attachment 1870684
Plus 2 for painted stripes. Makes it nice come wax time. No ridges, stripes are buried under the clear.
That’s awesome, it came out amazing! Thanks for sharing all of that! Sounds about right for something down here as well. As much as that’s something I’d like to do, not in my deck of cards currently. Later down the road possibly since this is a forever car for me. I don’t mind the chips to much as this car sees all weather, and is driven daily. About to clock 78k miles on her now.She finished curing a couple of weeks ago, so I'm coordinating final polish, ceramic coat, and PPF. I expect pics to be plentiful aafter she's done.

FWIW, a couple of local friends went with painted stripes only (not the whole car). Their costs were both ~$8K. Obviously, YMMV.
HA HAAAAAAAOf course @tones_RS3 roasted me after I said he didn’t like my GT500 hahaha. Savagery my friend!

A man's one and only true dedicated friend. Lost mine not too long ago. Love em today like there is no tomorrow. Awesome!
