Plug choice for Vortech with lower compression pistons?

Just checking to see if I should be running something different. I have the NGK tr6 plugs with .030 gap currently. But now my internals are forged and I went with a 9:1 compression piston and I have a Vortech V-2. Should I be running a different plug or a different gap with that compression?

Thanks. But what about the gap? Is there a need to adjust the gap given the compression? Or does that not really matter?

How can you give gap advice when we don't know how much boost. If he's only running 8lbs, he could run up to a .040 gap. If he's running 17-18psi, he might need to drop down to .028.

More info is needed for a precise answer.

I haven't had a new tune since I forged the internals but prior to the build it was tuned at a conservative 6psi because I'm still waiting on installing an intercooler. My intake temps are what fried my stock pistons to begin with. As soon as my intercooler goes on I plan on a tune at 10psi.
