3,300 Challengers named Demon get their curb weight shaved to 4248. A standard Hellcat Challenger weighs what, 4400 lbs? Unless 200-400 lbs doesnt matter in power to weight then you win sir. Then add driver weight... But Im pretty sure it does matter. For reference, my fat ass in my 2011 GT500 with full tank of race gas weights 4,040 lbs. Im not ragging on the Demon. Its a very cool car, and Im very happy that Dodge is slaying it with their Charger/Challenger line. It is however a fact that the standard Hellcat Challenger is 4455lbs, and the Hellcat Charger is 4,575lbs. Demon weighs 4248lbs.. Except that its missing its passenger front and rear seats and insulation all over the car and has lighter wheels for that 4248 rating. Making it an apples to apples comparison with all seats, Ill give the lack of certain insulation to the Demon. 4248+113= 4361Lbs 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon sheds seats and insulation to drop weight Curb weight of a 2018 Premium Mustang GT is 3825 (base GT is only 3705, but apples to apples). Lets assume that GT500 adds 100 lbs of blower and supporting bits. 3925 is still less than 4361. GT500 could add 35 more lbs to that and STILL be 400lbs lighter.... So, when ****s like @Kaneda and his popped collar shirt, tuxedo and slipper outfit wearing ass coming in here baiting people about power output, Demon (with all of its seats like GT500 on PUMP gas) is STILL 400Lbs heavier..... Now where is that damn kettle... @dannydarko11 gimme some popcorn!
