Makes perfect sense and I can get behind the physics here, but I’ve never seen (or can’t recall seeing) a turn off a/c sign, I live in the hot 100° high altitude Rocky Mountains. When we did the cooling system on my 03, we went so overboard that the oil only reaches optimum temp in +90° conditions. My water temp in winter takes a while to reach 190°. Did canyon blasts with bolt on sti’s and evo’s, a c7 z06 and others last summer and my temps hovered in the 200-220° coolant with oil around 190-240°, one guy blew the coolant line on an evo and another guy had such bad heat sink in his z06 that he parked it for an hour. My car set for ~800whp and canyon blasting to 150 once in a blue moon then down to 20/30mph for tight 180° bends cooked the brakes but that was it. They came back after ~5 min of easier driving. I really need to get ftbr’s 14”/13” kit and do a proper setup. My braking is trash after a few pulls.
