Gt500 will do fine against demons on the street. Tops it’s a car length behind on a 60-160, but I’m going to guess it’s door to door. If the rev limiter is 8k, gt500 by a car when shifting up there. 760hp at 7500rpm, and that engine combo wants to rev. Here are examples of 2.65 coyotes with less duration and stubbier displacement. Disregard the produced power number, but look at the graph. The prior trinity gt500 is rated at”662hp@6200rpm” but the vast majority made 580-610whp just by revving to 6750rpm. Graphs. 2013 Trinity before and after a tune. This was a high baseline that diablosport got but more important than the numbers is the graph. Notice at 6200rpm. Notice at 6750rpm. If the gt500 is 760hp at 7500rpm or lower, my money is on it from a roll when the car is the slicker non aero deal. I think people will be surprised how quickly the base cars are. Weight matters, but a bmw alpine b7 is ****ing heavy, and moves out up top. When a car is stable and planted, manufactures don’t have to load up down force. The slicker aero profile is excellent for speed. Speed has very little to do with lightness, and a car with .35 cofd will wreck a car with .40cofd even if it’s 500lbs heavier in a 60-160 race assuming same hp.
