Pin on Hoods.

Hi, I've been considering the Cervinis RamAir hood. I was wondering, are their any issues why the pin-on can't be used on the street. I'd have hood pins installed so it wouldn't fly off. I figured it would be lighter, cheaper $199 oppesed to $399.
