thinking of lowering the GT ive heard several stories with cut springs. dont know weather to get lowering springs or just cut the stocks ones

how crappy is the ride on cut springs? any help would appreciated

my friend cut his stock springs 1 coil and left the iso's out on his 04

03 cobra springs cut 1 coil
Rides better then my eibach pro springs. :xpl:

i have eibach sportline springs with no isos up front and on iso in the rear and the ride is pretty rough, i say cut a coil and see what they look like i bet it rides about the same. granted i have no other suspension mods is aftermarket shocks etc...

I say go for it. I don't have any recent pictures of mine, but I have about 1.75 coils gone in the front and a little more than 1 coil cut in the back. It's got a nice rake to it and rides fine to me. So long as you don't go around hitting potholes, you'll be fine.

my old car. 2 coils off front and rear. the lowest you can go. way too low but i wanted to see how it looked/handled. bumpy and stiff but it stuck to pavement.
