Car looks great with the changes. Curious why no one installs the GT/CS grill since it's now black in 2012.

Bars are too tight and too set back for me.

Perhaps people like the Saleen / Roush better? :rolling:

Great looking add-ons Red!

for me personally, I just do not like the closely spaced ribs of the Roush or CS grills, the Saleen grill just looks aggressive imo

+1

how much HP did those add? :-D

1,000,000 :D

thats good time, i found the the saleen grille shipped for $189, its sooo tempting!!!

Good deal, and makes a nice difference.

Whatever, I'm taking my ball and going home. :)

The car looks great with the new grill/lower. You going to keep the wheels or swap for something else?

LOL, that would explain some of it. But since everybody beats up on the Saleen grill and you have to cut the bumper for the Roush grill I figured it would be another option. But I'm biased.

Plus since it's a Ford product it won't void your factory warranty.:-D

This is the second time ive heard "cutting is required for a roush grill install"
Where are you guys getting your information? Allfords?

the problem with GT/CS grill is air flow, Roush and Saleen grills open up the grill area so much and look 10X nicer.

If a ford rep told me my aftermarket grill voids my warranty i will gap this dumster fire of a car in a lake and buy a honda.

You don't have to cut the bumper cover for a Roush grille, do you?

I just want to make sure, because I am ordering one next week.

I was just repeating what I read earlier in the thread about the Roush and just kidding about the warranty.

But my wife just bought an Acura TSX so figure I'm already covered on all bases.

No, I was led to believe this (reading around at other posts) but it has been determined that you don't. Either way, I was more a fan of the Saleen.

I like the Saleen as well. However, since I am probably adding a Roush front bumper down the road, I didn't want to mix and match.

nope not at all.

Hardest part was getting the stock grill insert(fog light and pony emblem thingy) off the grill surround(lots of clips).

Tips:

You dont need to remove the bumper.
take your time with getting the grill off the car. There is two clips by both the passenger and driver side headlights. They will snap easy if your not careful.(ask me how i know)

other than that, the Roush grill is a quality part.
