So while we were out at Carlisle for the Ford Nationals event a few friends and I took the opportunity to get some pictures. I think they came out pretty damn well. Also, I didn't shoot any HDR as my tripod was burried under stuff in my trunk and I didn't feel like diggin :burnout:

OK maybe I lied, I did try to take 1 HDR but it came out crappy cause I didn't use a tripod :(

Nice pics!

No worries about HDR, it's played out IMO. Wayyyyyy played out.
Thanks dude!

and yeah when its done as shitty as the example I just posted I agree 100000%!! Good HDRs shouldn't be obvious IMO. I like them when they're done well, as they can bring out the detail that the human eye can catch but the camera can't. You can also get pretty flamboyant with em, sometimes it works sometimes it fails (see my avatar pic as a "works" pic)

I agree 100%. It seems every noob with a camera posts their very first shots and of course they are HDR. Im big into photography myself, and it just bugs the hell out of me when these people 'start' shooting and assume 99% of their work needs to be HDR.

badass pics man...

all cars look great! i really like that black GT...
I know, I really had to limit how many pics I posted of it. I thought I took a lot of my own car... turns out I have at least twice as many of Mike's. The car is downright sexy :rockon:
Wow, nice pics/camera skills! Cars look great
Thanks man!

hahaha AMEN!! The guys that set the bar for HDR work are outlawphotoguy and O4Cobra. They're the ones that opened my eyes to how it should be done

haha yeah, unfortunately I lost a **** ton in the stock market (yeah AIG!!) and that helped me realize that its not the best use of mah loot :(

And no, I still have the 10th rims, but I have some mickeys mounted on em :)

Hell, I'd just do it for the parking privileges but it probably turns out to be cheaper if you just enter the car and you bring a friend along anyway
nice pics man. your cobra is CLEAN!!!
Thank you! She just turned 13k miles on the way there though... my girl's a teenager now :(
Holy lift kit! That DSG needs to be lowered. Good pics though.
lmao, i'll pass on the good word.

You're talking about the DSG cobra and not the Mineral Gray V6?

I was sitting in the Roush tent and saw this ride pull and thought it was sick. I saw him circle around a few times before he found a spot, but I didn't mind listening to the side exhaust

Killer pics man, I love the first one.

Nice pics!

For some reason I was never a fan of the HDR thing. I much rather see the same old pics which show the car how it truly is even if it is something that we are all used to.,

Great pictures, man. Your car is a subtle beauty. It reminds me of the first time I saw a Terminator back in '04 lol. I was only 15 and didn't know shit about cars, but my jaw dropped.

FORD truly broke the mold with these cars and I can't wait to get one.
