I've searched through many pictures of the 55D springs before and after (www.brembo50.com), but I can't verify if anyone is running larger wheels/tires in the pictures. The stock 19" wheels (27" tires) with 55D springs still has a bit of wheel gap for my taste, but I'm thinking with 20" wheels (28" tires) it will be perfect.
Does anyone have a confirmed picture of a car that is using 55D springs with larger wheels/tires? Frankly, it's just larger tires that makes the difference, but I'm sure nobody will run a larger tire without also running a larger wheel.
For example, from my armchair calculations 255/35R20 == 255/40R19 in terms of wheel diameter.
