Photos: Mustang cruise to South Padre Island Tx 50+ Photos

This was the first weekend that the Island was open and 100% functional to everyone. Before then, businesses were closed, parks were being fixed/renovated, power was being restored....ec all due to hurricane Dolly.

We were fortunate enough to have the help of a few local police departments to help keep us all in one big group. A HUGE thanks to the Port Isabel Police Department who actually stopped traffic onto the bridge so that we could get some good photos getting off the bridge on the Island side.

We were blessed with a great day:

That would be my car. Since I got the le mans stripes, i figured I'd put some rocker stripes also. There are tons of cars around here that have "Mustang" on the side so I thought I'd go with something different. I decided on 260 for the factory rated hp. Some people think its dumb but it doesn't bother me. Some people say "Oh he wants to be like a Shelby". Although I do love Shelbys, this isn't one and I don't claim it to be. When you think about where Shelby got "GT350" from, its kind of funny actually since it had jack to do with the car.
