Tentative plans to visit Gilbert, AZ area early next year, if shit doesn't hit the fan too hard:
- Interesting/fun things to do and see in the area.
- Gilbert relatively safe, that true?
- Which areas are relatively safe, which are stay the **** out!

My CC is good in AZ - lol.

Virtually all of Gilbert is about as safe as it gets, and the budding downtown area has good restaurants but not a lot of soul. It borders Mesa which has some sketch areas. What's fun to do depends on what you like to do. You can drive Hwy 88 from Apache Junction out to Canyon Lake, you can go to a range, you can golf, go-kart, rent a car and hit up a track day if your calendar aligns LOL

Lake Pleasant is nice, if you like casinos Wild house pass is fun. Lost Dutchman state park is cool I think it’s off hwy 88 if I recall which is a pretty drive. And Prescott is only a little over an hour away.

Forget Gilbert and go see the state.

1. Drive out to Tortilla Flats and then do the dirt road to Roosevelt lake, drive up to Prescott and then across the state to Sedona, spend a day or two kicking around the middle of the state.

2. Hit Montezuma’s Castle
3. Hit Metor Crater

4. Take 89a to Williams and catch the Grand Canyon Railroad to the South Rim
5. Return to Gilbert

As stated, Gilbert is safe. Downtown Gilbert is ok. If night life is your thing and you want College babes, Mill Ave in Tempe. Nothing to note in Mesa. Old Town Scottsdale is another happening place, but it can get pricey. Some of the ghetto likes to act bougie and party there, but the cops dont let it get crazy.

Golf, lots of Golf to be had. Where? Not sure as I dont partake but its NICE out in AZ early in the year.

All of Arizona is safe. About 85% if the state is protected land so if you like outdoors head any direction and there's something amazing to do outdoors.

You don’t like?
I like their deep dish pizza but the rest of the menu is poorly prepared chain food. It's Phoenix's version of Applebee's. Gimmicky chain food is insanely popular down in that area.

It's a 1/4 step up from Olive Garden, and a long way from notable.
Everything I’ve had there is great. Thin crust pizza, the pasta, wonderful sandwiches, pizza cookie. I like the 50’s atmosphere too.

Everyone I have taken there loves their food. When I was there 2 hour wait times on Friday Saturday nights were the norm.

Old town Scottsdale is pretty cool. I spent a night there in June.
