I was looking to get a stalker 2 hood for my 2012. On the pictures from their site it doesn't look like the back vents are functional. It appears to just be a tiny slit under each. Is that just a bad camera angle? I really need functional vents.

There is a smaller hole. Placed so water leaks to the side of the engine. Still functional, the hole is just smaller. You could always open it up, yourself.

Cool deal man, yeah just make sure you have the stock air box. I've have an open filter and wouldnt take the chance. The open filter sits right under the vents.

I have a modified C&L intake on mine, and it has a curved cover on it(to protect 13-14 GTs due to their stock vents). I guess it would be a good idea to really examine where the tiger racing vents are in relation to the C&L cover since I live in FL..."The Rainshine State".

Your car looks great.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. If its close to where mine sits then it will be in plain view of the vents. Its literally right underneath it. You could pour water directly on the filter with the hood shut.

You can always get a prefilter for outerwear. It's a waterproof mesh bag that goes over the air filter

Hrm, while my setup is less in danger, I bet it would still be close. But as PC03GT mentioned, there are solutions if I do go with the Tiger Racing.

Don't judge my dirty engine bay...

Yeah yours is a little better but id probably go back to a stock intake box or an enclosed one for sure.

+1 for checking on tiger racing hood. I have one myself, and with an open air filter rain will fall directly onto the filter. I run my cervinis cowl daily.
