Phenom II X2 550 @ 3.1 Ghz, giving the artic silver a week or so of break in time as well as the fans before I OC to about 3.5+. 4 GB DDR2 (2x2) Ram, 9800 GTX+ Graphics. Fun day.

nice but your going to need more than 600w for that to run efficiently.
Not even...500 would be plenty.

Sounds like a nice build. Here is the last one I built but as usual it is outdated now but still works for me.

clean up the wires with zipties, and move the HDD to it's intended slot(4 slots up), so as not to restrict airflow

nice build...im just built something close but intel based...Q9650 @ 3.8ghz..Two Nvidia GTS 250's in SLI...850watt PS..8gigs ram..
Mine will be similar to this. AMD|PH II X4 955 3.2G AM3 R, Two BFG 9600's in SLI, 1TB HD, 8GB ram. Not sure on the PSU tho

I picked up a XFX Radeon 4890 from NewEgg for around $199... Thing overclocks like a champion! I left my two 8800GT OC's out of my rig. The 4890 just blows them out of the water, plus, ARMA2 (my favorite game), runs better on this card than the GTX 285/295!
Get those cables out of the way to free up some airflow!
