So this has been sitting in my garage for a couple years now and im finally getting around to getting my Mustang back on the road.

Im considering putting it in but would like to know what other ppl's experiences are. I know I will have to change my gearing but just wondering who has done this with a Turbo car and what ur thoughts on it are.

I got a Lund NGauge to go with it as im also putting a FI 91mm on it with twin 44mm Wastegates. I completely modded that CPR Turbo kit its got all new piping underneath thats like 5x thicker than the original crap he used. Lund will be tuning it.

I kept blowing out the thin metal he used that lead up to the waste gate. It would just get TOO dam hot and get brittle and crack when roll-racing and trying to build boost lol but now that shit is like 15mm thick now.

Have two 44mm Tail waste gates now, much bigger Tail BOV and new piping and a Turbo of course but might swap to the new Garrett G55 85mm. Made 1350 whp with the old FI 85mm so I should make considerably more now.

It a sleeved MMR Pro Mod Motor with their MMR Intake. New 15 inch RC Comp wheels to and skinnies up front with new Bear Street brakes front and rear to clear.

Anyone?

No personal knowledge of it but to me it’s the way to go for a serious 6R build.
Lund obviously uses it with the Grey Goose but they and PBH have done the hard R&D. Even better if they’re tuning it also.
I will say from personal experience with my good friend’s 1300hp Whipple car that you’d be leaving in second with a conventional 6R80.
Who builds your transmissions?
Sounds like a sweet project.
