paxton guys should I wastegate it?

hey all, my '11 gt m6 has been on the paxton since 3/20 almost 5000 miles now. its on the stock 3.8 pulley. Car makes 662/495 sae how it is i was wondering how safe it would be if I wastegated it? I just want higher torque numbers the hp is fine where it is.

With a stock MT82 , lower tq will keep it alive longer.

stock mt82 was already having a few issues here and there before it got boosted and hasn't gotten any worse but im not expecting it to last anyway

When i first WG'd it i picked up about 80 tq.. so the answer is yes... WG it.. and even with WG, the TQ does not come from 2k RPM.. it wakes up at 3500 RPM about 1K lower than without WG.
