ive pretty much made my mind up for the Paxton 2200 kit.
now my question is :
do I keep my 3.31 with my manual 6 speed?.
I here a lot of talk of 4.10's and centrifugal sc's.
I will be making 600-625 rear wheel hp. im thinking the pull will be more with the 3.31's but the rpms will come up faster with the 3.73-4.10's

If you want to drag the car keep the 3.31. If you want to have a lot of fun on the street go with 4.10.

I had 3.73's and a Paxton and it was useless on the street. No traction in first second and third. I switched to 3.31's and now it's perfect. First is still useless, 2nd still spins a bit and i can hook up in 3rd. I am running 285 R compound tires. Putting down 620whp.

im putting down 618 with my paxton and 3.31 gears. i have 315 NT05s on the back and 1st and 2nd will spin easily. i went down from 3.73s because i figured they would be worthless, plus i want to track mine when i get home.

I had 3.73's before my Paxton and loved them on the street. I installed the paxton and they were still fun out of boost and fun from 3rd and up but like was already said 1st and 2nd was over so quick you get into boost and you need to shift, I could start in 2nd and still break loose. I have 3.31's now and I do miss the 3.73's when I'm not in boost, but hit the gas and I forget all about them. 3.31's make roll runs more fun too, 2nd gear 50 rolls are a lot of fun.

I am going to stick with my 3.73s once I get the paxton on and then maybe drop down after traction is really an issue

Stuck with my 3.73's after my vortech, just went with a taller tire and can hook 2nd gear no problem. 1st is still hit or miss depending on temp
