What slot is your idler pulley in for those who are running this setup with a gateshd 100" belt? Attached is a pic of where mine is and a little dust on the back. Here is my 2nd gear boost curve too. I have been reading all the old posts on this subject from 2014 and 2015, hard to tell what the right slot is? I also have an email in to beefcake racing but curious if others that have been through this learned this years ago.

I have a JT with a 8 rib. To answer your question, you put the tensioner in the hole that gives the belt the least amount of slack, and you can still put the belt on. As long as you follow these guidelines the stock tensioner will be in it’s effective range. I would suggest you buy a boss tensioner, these have a higher rated spring. I don’t have the part number to give you. A 3.33 on a 6 rib you will get belt dust.

So I will ask the question again since it was not answered and i have the same. When running the 3.33 pulley, which slot is the bracket tensioner supposed to be in with the 100" belt. I know there are people out there that have done this exact thing.
