~Painting The Bottom Of My Hood~

Not to bump an old thread, but I was thinking about doing this to my hood this winter but my question is to people who have done this, how does it hold up? Between the heat under the hood and the belt shreads, does this hold up? Or by the end of next summer will it look like crap again. My car only gets driving from may to september, but doing those months it's daily driven.

I'm going to be doing this soon to my hood but im thinking of doing gloss black instead of Red
