I have a 99 Cobra with a KB supercharger at about 10#s of boost. I also have a 13 Shelby GT500, stock. I can buy 93 octane with ethanol and sometimes without. I have bought some VP MS109 on the recommendation of a local engine builder. The 99 seems to sound different, exhaust note. I have aftermarket exhaust with cats. I have not put any in the Shelby, yet. I prefer VP gasoline, but do not know whether I like the oxygenated part. Would I do better buying non-O? Don't give me a bunch of race only or exteme fuel suggestions. I add the VP for an octane cushion for street and occasional 1/8th mile pass.
