What city will you be in? Riverside county is huge, hopefully you are in Corona or Riverside at the furthest. I have been in OC my entire life. Someone else can chime in on the specifics you asked for, but here is my .02. Expensive (especially gas), traffic sucks (hopefully you won't need to use the 91 Freeway to commute, it's horrible), and it's not as much of a community as you may be familiar with in the Midwest. Having said that, you have access to so many awesome places whether it be the beach, mountains, or desert all within a 30 minute to 3 hour drive at most. IMO, this is arguably the best place in the world for food. You can get anything, you just need to know which spots. The weather is fantastic, pretty much all year. Lots of women of all sizes and flavors, or dudes if you're into that sort of thing. There are always car shows/meets every weekend from hot rods to super/hyper cars, and you get to see some of the best.
