Where do you guys pick up your Whipples or KB's? I would like to find an all inclusive kit. One purchase that includes all the mods needed... Does that exist?

I like my used Kenne Bell 2.2 because it was much cheaper than any new blower.

Whipple > KB 2.2 for looks and power...

KB 2.2 > Whipple in the noise department.

I personally chose the Whipple and the only other choice for me was the KB 2.6.

Either blower will do the job. They both perform relatively the same IMO.

Here's a few of mine. It's pullied for 23psi. Still need a little more fuel before
I can spray it with that much boost though.

2.3 Whipple here. I will post pics when my car is done. Whipple def looks better than the KB. There both good blowers. I like that on the Whipple it says Ford Racing. :burnout:

Did they stop? If so, when did KB stop making the 2.2?

KB stopped making the 2.2L blowers quite a ways back. The 2.4 had a short stint then the 2.6 and the 2.8L blower came around...then the "H" models...then the Mammoth.

That's you're opinion. Don't state it as fact. Personally, appearance for a blower is irrelevant IMO. It's all about performance...and by performance I don't mean dyno numbers.

They are getting harder and harder to come by these days, especially the new style snout without the catch can.

I'm in the market for one so I'm constantly on the lookout :dw:

well then...im looking to go TS but want to purchase the blower with all supporting mods. If anyone knows of anybody putting their car back to stock send me a PM. I would take all the parts, and am open to both KB and Whipple.

Man, if a company could come out with a blower with Whipple looks and the KB 2.2 scream they would sell like hot cakes.

I run a Gen II Whipple @ 19psi on 93 pump and it's awesome!

Whipple gen 2 - love it. I have no direct experience with the 2.2 KB. However, I prefer the look of the Whipple.

Plus I get a decent amount of whine with my blower even on stock boost.

I prefer the look of the whipple over the KB, but I went KB anyhow solely because I wanted the scream. Unfortunately, I can't hear it over my exhaust, but everyone else outside the car can and that's all that matters. I've only had it a couple months and just finally finished fine tuning my tune so I can't really give an real impressions of it. Plus, my sumitomos aren't up to the power that I am putting down at 19psi so I cant' get the full experience of it anyhow...but it's definitely a ton stronger than the stage 4 eaton I had on before.

Here's the current engine bay (hopefully the damn site stays up)

Damn this is gonna be real hard. I want the scream, looks, and performance all in one, but of course it can't be like that. Decisions Decisions...Keep the comments coming though as its interesting to see everyone's opinion, and thanks to everyone who has posted!
