Besides the obvious displacement of the case, what are the differences between a 2.2 and a 2.4? In all the pics and the times I've seen both, the snout/front drive looks beefier on the 2.4. Or are my eyes just playing tricks on me since the snout is shorter than a 2.2? Does the 2.4 also have oil issues like early 2.2's? Does the 2.4 make the same nasty scream? Basically, school me!!!!

The 2.2 does have a longer snout and the 2.2 is louder than any of the other twin screws but you can still get them all to scream. The later ones and the "new" style 2.2 don't have the oil spray issue.
