everyone says that the idle adjustment is 90% of the tuning...i got that taken care of finally. im waiting for the wideband to come in before i do WOT tuning.

i keep hearing different information about what WOT is:
- is it full throttle
or
- engine speeds over 6000 rpms?

also since the car idles like STOCK now is it safe enuff to drive it a few miles? light throttle of course...id like to take it to a shop for some datalogging.

is it safe to say, that if a car can idle on its on for 10 mins after the tune, that its safe enuff to drive (lightly) to a shop?

Did you just do idle or did you do the rpm steps? I take the steps up to 3500rpm and from there I drive it to fine tune the driveability. WOT is your foot to the floor no matter the rpm. I usually start around 3000rpm since I have a centri and don't make much boost below that.

What software do you use?? How do your short term fuel trims look?

What you do now is get it tuned for open loop using a wide band.
