oil pump to block questions

the build-up has been put on hold (i can't turn any wrenches with my right hand after my accident) but i was out toying around with the engine and now im wondering, is there a gasket in between the oilpump to the block?? there wasn't one when the engine was disassembled, but i wanna make sure before it goes back on........

i wondered that myself. i think modular mustang racing is making some cryo-treated pump that has an o ring seal there, but it bolts down tight, so it will be fine.
