Build #39 of the 04's baby!

2004-L-build-certificate.jpg

Who has a build number that low?

100% stock except the open air filter (off my 03) and I just put new Hankooks on it. Stock is getting old a beat so I'm thinking about putting some chrome oem rims on it and installing a real audio system and ordering a 4lb pully/programmer kit from Amazon racing. Also interested in a catback that purrs and sounds better than stock but yet isn't too loud/annoying for daily driving or over powers the supercharger whine. I hate to admit it, but my friends stock chevy silverado trucks have better sounding stock exhausts than the Lightning does!

My recently purchased 2002 L. A dear friend who owned it, passed, and my wife and I were fortunate enough to buy it from the estate. We're gonna make sure it does what it has been built for- roadracing. I recently totaled my other one, so this will make a great replacement.

Some shots I took a few months back.

Wow... I love that hood, probably my favorite after-market hood, who makes it? And can't go wrong with the 03/04 stock chromies!

Again, mods are Belltech 3/4 drop (springs only up front, hangers out back with shims (to get the DS angle correct), 20" 1999 Chrome replicas, SS smooth bed caps and steps, Sir Michael's rollpan, solid rear glass with paint matched trim.

perfection right there.
