OFFICIAL 96-98 ENGINE TAG info thread

Maybe this subject has been brought up alot in the past but, my 1996 Cobra tag looks to have been burnt off over time. Just a thin layer of the tag is left. So I was wondering, I just ordered an SVT Certificate of Authenticity for my car but, since the names have been burnt off, is there no way of ever knowing who built it? thanks

I updated with the build number, #407 of 3480. He said he wouldn't be able to get an exact build date until I purchased a certificate, so all I have currently is the mo/yr. As soon as I can purchase a certificate, I'll update with the exact day.
