A smidge over 90 days till College Football is back baby!

What better way to kick off the 2024 Season thread than with the trailer for the EA College Football 2025 video game.

Mind. Blown. :geek:

And yah, put my pre-order in for the game today.

Joel Klatt had an amazing take on the Herd and something I've always felt should be required but take the teams powers away to schedule cupcake non-con teams and FCS garbage teams.

Anything that adds parity to CF is good for the game.

12 team playoff starts this year. Will be interesting to see who makes it and who is left out, especially if there is a really good Group of 5 team that gets in/out. Could be some drama.

Teams 9-12 will have the most drama about who gets left out and who is in

EA CF 2025 is crazy detailed. The motion graphics are still a little choppy and awkward.

The playbooks are set to each team's traditional style of offense and defense.

I only got a chance to play a quick game yesterday but it was fun. The music and play by play is greatly improved.

I shall get a Dynasty team started this weekend.

I am sure this is going on at every big school, not sure this NIL thing is going to be good for college ball.

At least it is a way to wipe out a swath of people who lack brain power. Gonna see more speeding deaths of college athletes.

Nature, uh, finds a way.

Harbaugh gets a 4 year show-cause penalty for recruitment violations. That is a hefty price to pay but since he (and Michigan) didn't cooperate with the NCAA during the investigation, they laid the hammer down. Cannot wait for the carnage when the NCAA releases its punishment for the Connor Stallions illegal scouting fiasco. It is gonna be epic! **** those guys. We better pile it on them in Columbus this November.

That'll only affect him IF he chokes in the nfl and comes back to the NCAA?

Harbaugh looks like a bobble head you want to toss in the neighbors yard but the NCAA is one complete joke.

Soooo a College coach and school can pay a high school kid $1M but God forbid a coach sends a recruit a text or verifies an athletes IG account. Talk about hypocritical and feckless.

The NCAA has no authority and no teeth to implement punishment.

The rules were different when the recruiting violations happened. Rules are rules (as dumb as they are). The world of college sports is changing so rapidly that it is difficult to assess a violation that happened 3 years ago because the rules are so different now.

Harbaugh isnt going back to college. So whatever the NCAA thinks it did was a waste of time and pointless.
