I might be picking up a bone stock 04 short block. If I do I was thinking about a quick refresh with some new rings and bearings. where are guys getting them?

Give either of these guys a call and tell them what you are trying to do and they’ll get you what you need. Assuming you have a stock untouched rotating assembly it should be straight forward.

Have you checked Tasca Parts? Otherwise you could source stock type replacements from places like Summit Racing.
