Sorry they got some set of balls to turn down 55%. How does the union representative even fact that. Going to sound like Trump here and fire them all replaced them you're gone all gone

No one ever has the balls to fire strikers. Maybe that isn't ideal but some people only understand hardball.

I bet 20% are already at food banks
They're crossing left and right

They've turned down 30%(which puts them at 61 an hour. 90-120 an hour on ot

That video showing the effectiveness of Chinese port automation clearly shows why the union is demanding an automation-free future for the dock workers. Their demands are unrealistic, especially when you consider they turned down a huge 55% wage increase.

I mean more along the lines of a company balling up. How much negotiation needs to take place before the realization sets in that others will gladly take their jobs?

The people in question act as if they are receiving peanuts and IMO, once you start firing, watch how quickly you get their attention.
