I am looking for a OBD II Bluetooth auto diagnostic scanner that I can use with a laptop or smart phone. What is everyone using and how do you like it? It would be nice if it had software that would allow logging.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the info. I am looking at the ODBlink MX Wi-Fi and the Forscan software for Windows and iPhone. I looked at the Forscan Windows program and it is quite extensive. Someone, like me, could do a lot of damage to the cars programing if they are not careful.

OBDLink MX here. I just got it this week, super easy-to-use. I'm using it with Harrys Lap Timer Grand Prix. Everything synced up immediately. VERY happy customer.

Did you go with the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi model?

Bluetooth, because I will be connecting my phone to my GoPro 3+ via WiFi at the same time.

As long as you have the scanner module you might as well take advantage of it abilities and get the Android version of FORscan for $4.61.

It's only for Ford, Mazda, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles.
