Friends daughter ran the oil low and blew the engine in the Subaru and asked me what I thought about building him a mod motor to stuff in it…

That’s what I sent

The part about the turbo 4cyl hurt my feelings.

At least I take my Gay Man's Chevy/ LBGTQIA2+ truck off-road.

Fun fact: I tried climbing the same rock on my Husqvarna FE501s yesterday. Apparently, you need at least some skill to do it. I guess sending it with as much speed as possible was the wrong approach. My buddy was traumatized by the sound of my bike sliding back down the rock. lol

So, new brake lever and/or bark busters, shifter or rear brake lever? How's your side cases?

Front brake lever and bark buster required some trailside manual adjustment. Bark buster took majority of the damage. The throttle tube and grip will need to be replaced. A little scuffing on the rear axle nut. I was surprised how well the bike held up. Looks like the peg and brake lever were enough to keep the case off the rock. It did make me remember that I had been shopping for some heavy-duty radiator guards. I could only imagine how bad it would have been if the bike would have been rendered inop from the crash. Luckily it didn't tumble.
