As for stories, I never once picked up a chick at a bar or elsewhere. Struck out a time or two before I met my wife. (There was a chick one time that asked my wife’s brother if he thought I’d go home with her, that was weird). So, all of my stories suck. Pretty sure most people that frequent this section enough know that by now.

My BiL and I were 10 hours away in Atlanta for work. Would be an awkward phone call at midnight - 1AM.

I knew a guy I used to track with, had a group of friends that'd all do the same track events. He got transferred to another state, but flew in for the events, rented a v-8 Mustang, and his friends brought a set of track only tires/wheels for it.

They stripped it down and put the wheels on it and spent the weekend on the big track at Summit point.

At the end of the event they'd put it back stock.

As a further insult; he always bought the agencies additional insurance in case he wrecked it.

Not that severe but I rented a 17 Mustang GT and took it on the Hot Rod Power Tour in 2018.. Drove it over 2K miles in a week,drag raced in at two different tracks,few alleged street encounters,autocrossed it and quite a few burnouts. Best $499 I spent in a while lol.

That’s a great idea. I want to do the Power Tour one year. My buddies and I drive to OCMD every spring from the Philly area in a caravan, so there’s usually 4+ of us. The drive down is the best part.
