Know it well Poughkeepsie. There used to be a venue there called the Chance and back in the day saw many great shows like the Outlaws and Marshall Tucker. Its about 1hr 20 from my house. Sadly I drove back from there pretty drunk after some shows. Once you get away from the shit of NYC, the boroughs and Long Island the rest is quite nice. I have a friend and my wives relatives around Albany and out western NY state have a friend near Watkins Glen where I did about 10 years at the Nascar at the Glen races years ago. That is the Finger Lakes out there and a great area except in the winter time.
Funny, My wife grew up in Warwick. We live about 10 miles from Watkins Glen.

Very cool. I live about 10 minutes from Warwick but in NJ and my dealer for Ford work is Leo Kaytes Ford in Warwick.

Love Watkins Glen and when we did the Nascar at the Glen races used to stay at hotels in Painted Post or Horseheads and would do our restaurants in Corning where the Nascar drivers would eat. Are you near any of those areas.

My friend lives on the water in Kueka Lake which is beautiful especially for swimming. My wife's friend grew up in Hammondsport and we love that area except in winter...lol. Have to get up around that area again soon and do not forget the wine country also.

I'm in Horseheads. Grew up in this area and have roughly 400 miles of HPDE track days @ The Glen.

Excellent area in Horseheads. If I lived close like that to Watkins Glen would have tracked my once owned 2 R model Mustangs the 93 and 95 but too far away and no transport. Thanks
