Anyone had any problems with the nitto nt555r at higher speeds.... like 165 mph? Seems like they are rated at 150 mph. Also looking for a set of 13/14 track pack rear 20" wheels. Thanks

Haven’t had any problems with the thus far on short pulls. Haven’t had them up at those speeds for long periods of time.

You won't have any issues at this speeds. The 555Rs and the NT05Rs are stable. I run the NT05Rs at 1/2 mile events all the time.

Yeah, the half mile was what I'm running next month with the 555r .... usually run cup 2"S but need some extra traction on this surface. Just hoping the 555r are predictable at the higher speeds.

I have the 555R's and find them to be very stable. I will confess that I've never had my car to the speeds to which you mentioned, but high enough to know that the 555R's were solid at high speed.

I found the opposite the 555r hooked better on the street than nto5rs that were wider. I removed them after a 100 miles and put 555r back on.

Question about this, not relating to your exact question. Where are yall getting your's installed? Discount won't do it since its bigger than the stock width. I don't want to take it to some janky mom and pop shop to have them installed. I'm talking about the 305's.
