Not your basic lower caged pulley question

I had a 4lbs lower pulley on my car and I removed it when I installed my Whipple. I put a stock unit back on, I noticed that when I installed it, it was hitting the balancer. Know that I have turned the motor over I did hear rubbing and I saw sparks. I do believe the pulley is still hitting the balancer but not that bad. Do I need to back the lower cage out or will it be ok?

My question to this would be is the belt in perfect alignment or is it slightly off?

it looks to be in alignment, I have run the car and the belt does not ride one way or the other.

I'd guess the cage is bent or the rubber on the balancer is shot and its touching the cage ?

when I get it I did not notice if the cage was bent, I did look to make sure the rubber was good. So if the cage is bent will it hurt the car?
