Not happy with sound...

Ok, I recently put on the Mac Pro Chamber (with cats) and the Magnaflow stainless catbacks.

It sounds muffled. Louder, throaty and deep, but muffled.

Allow me to compare it to television resolution. Right now its a 720p. I want 4k.

I drove the car with the stock midpipe on and catbacks for a week or so and it was fine, not a lot changed with the Mac TBH....

I'm looking for that clear, loud, not raspy, but clear sound...

Can you run on OR mid?

Heck if I couldn't pass with mine I'd swap it in/out for the inspection.

Should’ve got the off road prochamber. The prochamber already has the box muffler. A catted one probably isn’t that much louder than stock.

So either an O/R Prochamber or an O/R X or H.

The part came with the car....so otherwise a free mod.

My question then, is the difference in sound between the X and H....I understand some can be more tinny and raspy with more treble vs. Loud and deep. Looking for loud and deep...

Off road x would be loud but also more raspy. O/R H as I understand is loud but have never heard one on a Cobra. Best bet would be to browse YouTube however it can vary by quality of camera.

Why don’t you just cut the cats off of the pro chamber? I have a bbk xpipe and it’s loud as shit. I’m currently looking for an off-road pro chamber.

O/R H will fix it for you.
O/R X = more raspy, which you said you were not looking for.

I had the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard on a Terminator. Mac catless Prochamber with Borla catback, removed terribly raspy Stinger mufflers for Borla Pro XS and had the exhaust guy connect the pipes under the IRS with a short piece, like a second H or X in rear.
In your case, start by having the cats removed. If still not enough then replace mufflers.

Why don’t you just cut the cats off of the pro chamber? I have a bbk ask pipe and it’s loud as shit. I’m currently looking for an off-road pro chamber.

Friend of mine has an off road prochamber with Stingers and it sounds awesome. I’d get rid of the BBK X after the one I had on my 01 back in the day I wasn’t a fan of the quality or sound.
