Followed a gorgeous 340/6 Pack Dodge Challenger thru our park today. We exited at the same time and I followed him thru the lights to the same thoroughfare we were taking. As we sat waiting for traffic to clear, I told the wife, "As soon as we straighten out, I'm gonna wax that Challenger." She sez, "I don't think so!" (she hates going fast) "Don't think I can do it?" I jest.
This is a street, not the Indy 500, or something like that came from her side of the truck. As traffic cleared he took off with me in tow. He hit it hard and so did I. I maintained a couple car lengths distance from him, but he didn't gain any. I think I surprised him. Plus I got away with checking out the truck's performance without any screaming from the wife.
