Same here Bob.I’m watching falling leaves as I sit here on my deck. Not a lot (lawn was mowed Monday), but they’ve started.

It’s really dry here (no rain) so I’m wondering if that might cause the early falling of leaves.Same here Bob.
I mowed on Saturday and they are leaves on the lawn now. Not many, but a good amount.
Same here...dry as hell...my one maple in my yard is droppin fast alreadyIt’s really dry here (no rain) so I’m wondering if that might cause the early falling of leaves.
It's been very dry out here as well. It’s really dry here (no rain) so I’m wondering if that might cause the early falling of leaves.
Same here Bob.Still no color changes here. Well, just yellow. But a lot of leaves are falling from my trees and from my neighbors’ trees. I’m convinced this is happening here because we’ve had a very dry July, August and September.
It's not a claim or crap, Andy. It's true! A dry summer can negatively impact fall leaf color by stressing trees, which may lead to earlier leaf drop and less vibrant colors. Ideally, a combination of cool nights and sunny days in the fall is needed for the best color display. The weather clowns claim that because New England had such a dry summer, colors might be "muted" or some crap like that.
