way (way) back in 2000 when i was a lean, mean 20 years old... I bought my first Cobra - a 1997. white with a black top and about 20k miles. Loved that car. I joined a little club called the North Texas Cobra Club that met at the Frisco, TX Ford dealership. Did some events with them and had a lot of fun. One of my favorite events was showing off our cars in the corral @ Fair Park on TX/OU game day. My old man and I drove there in the rain and drizzle and struggled to keep the car looking good as it rained on and off that day and hundreds of college football fans streamed out of the stadium, gawking and admiring our fine Ford steel on their way out. Fond memories. we did poker runs, track days, etc. etc. etc. Now I have my 3rd SN95 cobra and a bit more time and money on my hands. I'd love to get involved with a local club like that again. I don't think that club is still around, but maybe there is something like it. Does anyone know what the local DFW SVT/mustang/etc clubs are? Google turns up a ton of results, most of which look either defunct or too national to be what I want. I'd love some info if anyone has some. Thanks!
