No Production # on Intake? - 2013 Boss

Hi All,

Just picked up my 2013 Boss from its original owner and while poking around under the hood, I noticed the Intake plate, which says 2013 Boss 302, doesn't have the Production# on it (or VIN# etc.).

Anyone else have a similar situation? I have the original owners pkg. with letter, etc. and everything is noted there, VIN is legit Boss 302/matches car, etc.

Only thing I can think of is that perhaps the intake was replaced at some point, perhaps under warranty.

Not a huge deal for me. Car is awesome and the rest of it flawless.

Quick update. Spoke to the previous owner and he confirmed the Intake has never been touched. Besides regular maintenance, Air bags were the only thing ever replaced. Soooooooo, I guess it was a screw up during production.

Sorry, Intake Manifold....and now that I've taken a picture, I can see a faint outline of the production number(3142)!!

Any 2013 owners out there.....is this what yours looks like?

That is correct, the stamping on yours was pretty weak though haha

That code is definitely light. Must have been done on a Friday. LOL.

That could be, the engine bay is spotless!
