This Saturday and Sunday is a "Ford's Only" weekend at Byron where they are hosting the National Mustang Racers Association. I just wanted to let everyone know that there will be a Ford only truck class included.
This is a special class being done at the request of Ron Leek, the tracks owner. Ron, who owns a 2000 Lightning asked the NMRA for a Lightning specific class, but the NMRA opted to include all Ford Trucks.

Lets have a good showing of Lightnings attend so we can justify a Lightning specific class at other NMRA events in the future.

There will a total of 6 classes of bracket and open comp racing to race practically any Ford in. There will also be a car show and swap meet.
See: http://www.byrondragway.com/ for more info.
I can try to answer questions not covered on the website as I do have one of the brochures.

Hope to see you all there on both Saturday and Sunday.

Bob,

Turned down the invite for CART at Cicero but I didn't get my chip so I will be missing you this weekend. Good Luck and have lots of FUN.
