I'm on E85 and around 16-17 psi and I have ran both these plugs without an issue. I'm thinking it might be time to put a fresh set of plugs in just for a piece of mind. Is there a preference between the two anymore? I was sold the Brisk plugs through VMP and advised to run them with my setup but it was mentioned I could run the NGK's also.

I have a set of NGK 71X that have 5 miles on them. Gaped wrong, switched back to oem, throw me a price and I'll ship them. I have a 2013 GT500.

Just curious. Why didn't you re-gap them? I used to use NGK Iridium plugs in my '03 Cobra and found that the gaps were never consistently correct. So re-gapping for me was a common thing to do.

Its a long story, my buddy did them, some were gapped right, couple off slightly, so it was throwing a misfire code. Other frustrating issues before that so when oem plugs went in and everything was correct, I left it alone. I'm sure the plugs are perfect, just not messing around with it anymore

Thanks for the info! I feel like I should probably stick to the GR12ys although it's a little confusing. States it meant for low boost but recommended for car with 18lbs or more. I'm probably in the 16-17lb range by the chart and deducting 1lb for my exhaust is my best guess. The stock gauge just pegs at 15 so no real data there. My FRPP short block is low compression also.

Your running E85 right? How much power you putting out total? Rule of thumb. For every 75-100 hp over stock go one step colder. If your putting out around or up to 850 crank hp. I would recommend BR-GR- 12S

You can contact this guy from Brisk. He can recommend or explain what brisk would advise: He helped me out!

I'll make some calls and find out whats preferred for me. The Brisk plugs I have now were recommended by Justin at VMP. I think he had me gap them at .032 for my setup. I wish I could get 93 without ethanol in my area but there's only one pump with it. We have tons of E85 pumps so thats easy and I am definitely a fan of it over 91.
