Sold my ‘12 mustang Gt for what I wanted.
I am at least 12-14mo away from getting into something else.
I am looking for Suggestions for my next fun car. It would be a part time daily driver.
1. ‘16-17 5.0 premium, mt82 plus a supercharger - 600-650hp
2. ‘21/22 5.0 premium mt82 (would remain N/A)
3. Wait for the s650

Budget - under 50k

I have been looking at smaller cars to take over DD duty. Although right now is not the time to buy. Something like a FiST or similar. But I have been all over the place, I have looked at mini’s, i3’s, the smaller Audi and BMW’s. Only issue I’m running into is the fact that none of these vehicles have ball cooling.

C6z are sick. I agree, prices are insane right know. Who knows what prices will be in a year or two.

$50k used to get you a nice a GT350. But I would get a Mach1 and skip the mt-82.

I’ll look/drive several cars before I make a decision. It’ll be late next year into ‘23. I have my f150 for DD duty.

Gt350 look really really good but concerned over the issues they have, even the ‘19-20s.

If you have a desire for real speed and want to stay Mustang, then a 15-17 GT Auto with a Twin Turbo kit on corn. About 700-800 rwhp all day long and no missed shifts.

If it must be a manual S550, then look at swapping out the trans for a T56 Magnum XL. Ben Calimer is a hell of a trans builder, but even a strengthening of the MT82 by him still only makes a slightly stronger turd.

As a former die hard manual guy who recently sold his GT500, if I had to do it all over again Id have gone 15-17 automatic without hesitation with Centri blower.

I would love to get a 2019 Bullitt. In Dark Highland Green. I wish they offered it with a 10 speed auto. I have had a 01' Bullitt and an 08' Bullitt, both in Dark Hyland Green. That color just does something for that car. Main problem for a car like that, or any other "performance" car here in Maine is that 6 months out of the year the car sits in the garage. I already have a drag car that does that. Tough to watch it sit for half a year at a time.

Slightly used Audi S4. From what I'm reading the stock fuel system will run E85 and with just a tune you can reach 500hp.

I don’t think anyone could give an answer because who knows what car prices will be in a year. They could go up or could go down.
