mine is a little loose in the cam bore specs, I see a tad under 20 at idle once warmed up. Builder said he would prefer to see a little higher but wasn't worried

Mine was built a tad on the loose side, but still within factory specs. I see 90-100 psi cold and 20 psi hot. It does increase with rpm. At cruising speed, about 2300-2400 rpm, it's at 40 psi hot.

I typically use Mobil 1 10W30. I switch to 5W20 in the winter. I don't really notice a difference, but it makes me feel better.

I always use a Motorcraft filter.

warrior, al
I have Speed Hut gauges on my Aluminator Coyote engine.
On new engine start up. The oil pressure was 100 lb cold,
60-90 lbs hot.
The gauge would be about 80 lbs and drop almost to zero and then pick back up to 60 lbs or more.
Speed Hut sent me a new sending unit. That stopped all of that crap. Very bad for the nerves to watch a 14K engine seem to lose oil pressure.
By the way the Aluminator runs 5W-50.
A mechanical gauge is in order, until you confirm what the issue is.
good luck,
