Hi Y’all.

Hailing from Orangevale, California. Owner of a 2004 Ford Cobra. I knew absolutely nothing that was entailed about the upkeep of this car and over the years I have learned a lot. It started from not knowing my blower needs oil to now me putting in a clutch but still freaking out because it’s my first time and I don’t want to disappoint him (my dad. He passed several years ago. Honestly, it is the best gift he’s ever left me. I feel connected to him every time I drive, wash, maintain and build onto it. My son will have this car when I pass. Ehhhh. It’ll actually be my daughter. lol

Those Kenne Bell Cobras have an awesome whine. Beautiful to have that connection with your pops. Is that rear tire size right? Sounds real narrow.

Welcome, and congratulations! Your 2004 black Cobra sound really nice. Did you make a mistake on the posted front and rear tire sizes? They look reversed.

I’ll post them soon. She’s up on stands. There was a hiccup on the collection stall. Someone who is helping me did a big no-no. I almost list it let’s just say it involves a helicoil and flywheel. And a bunch of WTF!? Well heck. I’ll post 1 now. She’s a bit indecent though. Under anesthesia.

No. I had posted them wrong. Was a long day. They are betwixed. So I posted my fronts as backs and backs as fronts. I got a little startled and had to look physically. I assure you the only thing that’s wrong is me posting them

Welcome, you should give me that 2.2, nothing but problems. Post up some pictures.
The 2.2? Take it. It’s too loud and one of the sales guys at KB told me it was outdated (first part sarcasm later part true).

I’m about to get back to the clutch presently though. I had a friend that was helping me and .. well .. yeah. He put the completely wrong bolt in the flywheel. Wait .. that’s not right .. he took out a bolt, that I put in by hand, with him right next to me, I went in to get a glass of water, come back to him about to torque without putting the 14m hex to hold the cam shaft (caught that).

So I held onto the hex and let him put down the first set of torque for the flywheel. I mean, who doesn’t want help? We take a break. It’s getting late. I have to take him home and he casually mentions that a bolt stripped on the first torque setting. I was surprised so I went to go take a look. To be more surprised. It wasn’t even the bolt I set! The flywheel bolt! It was one that held on the back of the bell housing to keep the duster up!

I just don’t know why at all. I know that he’s never to touch the car again. The more I think about it more I’m like WTF. UGH. someone beer me.

So I got a helicoil coming in today to make it right. And I finish the job Gosh, sorry I dumped that all ya.

Don't use the app, so you don't get that odd text. Just run the full site on your phone.
Brad, can't the SVTPerformance app be removed from the Apple App Store? And the Android version as well? It's obvious people are still downloading it apparently.
