Helped my buddy @Twister_GT500 with some new shoes for his ride. Cell phone pics with better to come later. OEM wheels come in at around 36 lbs each, so these at 24-25 lbs make a hella lot of difference

Looks pretty good. Weight advantage is awesome but I actually prefer the stock wheel look. I also like the 16-18 stock GT 350 wheels. That is just my opinion.

It looks good. Why go with different width tires on the same rim? The front 305’s look like they’re stretching a little to fit the rim.

Side note:
Crazy that you could fit 315’s on the front..

Definitely the performance gain. Moving the OEM 20x11 out to be flush requires a lower offset and adds material to the pad of the wheel. When adding material you add weight. It’s a better performance trade off to add more width to the rim, than pad to the wheel. This way the added weight also gives you a performance advantage of more front end grip.

The OEM 305 is within spec of the 20x11.5. With a brand new set of tires on the car it makes sense to reuse what you have and then move to a 315 square later. Buying the new wheels and reducing unsprung weight is way more appealing when you do not also have to buy new tires as well.

Smart change, weight wise. I don't personally like the wheel style, but it's not my car. LOL. The spokes are a bit thin and kind of disappear against the HUGE rotors and calipers. Gotta love the weight savings, though.

That is a good looking '20 GT-500. I'm sure the owner loves it!

OP, I have been trying to find out the weight of the non CF 500 wheels. Are you ABSOLUTELY certain that it is “36lbs” each? That sounds awfully high.

OP, have you guys found out which 19" wheels will work? After going with 19/20 and back down to 18/19, I'm never going big wheels again.
